Back On The Road Winner
Appears At Great West Trucking Show In Vegas

Don Turkelson, Arrow's Back On The Road 2008 contest winner, made two recent personal appearances at The Great West Trucking Show in Las Vegas. Don enjoyed conversations with fellow truckers, took pictures and even signed a few autographs at the Volvo Trucks North America booth on Thursday, June 26th, and then again on Friday the 27th at the Arrow Truck Sales booth.

"It was really great having a chance to meet with and talk to fellow truckers during the show," said Turkelson. "It's always nice hearing stories about the road and sharing common experiences." While at the Volvo booth, Don met and took pictures with T.J. Tilcox - one of the "Ice Road Truckers" from the popular History Channel series.

While at The Great West Show, Don also shared his triumphant come-back story involving a near-death experience several years ago during an attempted truck hi-jacking. "It's never easy looking back on that experience, but I'm truly blessed to have not only survived it, but met so many supportive people who have helped me get back to trucking once again," said Turkelson.

If you missed Don at The Great West Show, he'll be making another personal appearance at the upcoming Great American Trucking Show in Dallas, TX. August 21st - 23rd. Once again, you'll find Don at the Arrow Truck Sales booth on Friday, August 22nd from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. If you're in "The Big D" around that time or planning to attend the show, be sure to come on by and say "hello!"
